Casey, from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, began pursuing his music career full-time after his honorable discharge from the United States Army in 2012. Since then, Casey has been a finalist on seasons 13 and 14 of “American Idol” and his music has been sold and streamed in all 50 states as well as over 20 countries.
Casey recently lost his father to suicide and now wants to help the cause by sharing his story and his song, “Survivor”, that he wrote in honor of his father. Casey is proud to be helping the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and the Out of the Darkness Walks across the state of Alabama. Please come and be part of this special night. Lydia Barber, organizer of the Walk, will be on hand to distribute information about suicide awareness and prevention and talk to you more about the Out of the Darkness Walk.
